DOE THE BEAT KING

BORN IN MILTON FLORIDA ON JUNE 30TH 1982 to

David and Kathy Owens from West Helen, Arkansas. 

Doe and family moved to the DMV area in 1994 

Went to Frederick High School in Frederick, MD 

 

 Doe's love for music stem from going to  the southern Baptist Church  with his grandmother. Doe often played the drums and sometimes the keyboard for the church. 

I always wanted to pursuit a career in music. My validation came from Keith Murray the legend himself when he allowed me to rap for him in 1998. Once done he extended the offer to join him in NYC. Due to my age and the gritty nature of rap music needless to say my parents replied YOU IN NYC HELL NO!!!

In 2000 I began to take music even more serious and began producing hip-hop beatsdue to local producers over charging for work.

In 2012 DOE and HEVEWAE competed in a rap competition in Washington DC where Hevewae took the win and afterwards a new friendship was formed and THE MOVEMENT SHOW was created 

In  October 2015 Doe moved to San Diego, California to take his career to the nextlevel.  On Saturday's 6/8pm pst catch DOE spinning the hottest hip-hop and r&b on  www.djsbreakmysingle.com as well as the new formed http://www.myradiostream.com/mobile/tmsradiolive
